i see you.

AVATAR 3D IS DEFINITELY WORTH WATCHING. no doubt about it.

No, it's not only the special effects that intrigued me. It was the fact that the director (who was also the director of 'titantic') had perhaps, without us even realising it, turned us against our own human race. Now isn't that amazing ? For a moment there, we humans were the bad guys who threatened to diminish a superior and one-of-a-kind race. And to be honest, even I was cheering when the 'enemy' (us) were getting our asses whooped by the blue aliens.
So in short, the movie was so good that it even made us homo sapiens unaware that we were "cheering" for the "other" side. Well, for a while anyway ;)

3D GLASSES :D

What I found most fascinating was the concept of the "Na'vi" people and their affection towards mother nature. Also, when they say the words "I see you", it isn't your everyday "i see you as in with my eyes and my eyes only", but more like "I see into your soul - and understand your ways" type of thing, which has a completely different meaning.

Two movies in one day, again ! Mai came over earlier and left a movie on my computer: 'A Walk to Remember' - so I watched it just before. I must say, it was another irrevocably heart-tumbling and captivating movie, although, it wasn't as 'recent' nor suspenseful as Avatar.

On something completely unrelated to movies, today was also Christmas Eve. For me, this is the annual 'give a present to your neighbour' day. My neighbour and my family exchange gifts every Christmas and I love it. Free presents for me without the necessity for me to spend money since it's my mum who pays for the neighbour's pressies hehe. On the down side, they gave me Ferrero Rocher - AND IM ALLERGIC TO NUTS. On the positive side, I was given two presents :) the other was also chocolate (I think it's made in Italy), except not all of them contained peanuts. It's funny, I suspected another "make-up" kit as they've given me that for the past two years or so. Now it's suddenly 'chocolate chocolate chocolate'. What's next? PJs ? (actually, they gave me pyjamas one year too LOL)
